ingredients
  • 1/2 Cup of Butter softened (2 sticks)
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Egg- Room Temp
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/8 Tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Old Fashion Oats
  • 1/2 Cup Steel Cut Oats
  • 1 Cup Raisins
instructions
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. 2. In an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and both sugars until light and creamy
  3. 3. Scrape down the sides and add the egg and vanilla
  4. 4. Beat until fully combined and light and fluffy
  5. 5. Add flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt until just combined
  6. 6. Add oats and raisins until just combined
  7. 7. Let dough rest in fridge for 10-20 minutes
  8. 8. On a parchment lined baking sheet scoop out 2 tbsp of dough and roll into a ball
  9. 9. Bake for 14-16 minutes or until edges are slightly golden
  10. 10. Allow to cool on a cooling rack or serve warm!
  11. 11. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days
