Fresh crab paired wit a sweet chili sauce is the perfect combo for your next dinner! Seasoned and fried, these crispy ragoons will make you and your family want to have more and more!

  • 1 Pack Square Wonton Wrappers
  • 1/2lb Lump Crab Meat
  • 1 (8oz) Package of Cream Cheese Softened
  • 3 Green Onions Chopped
  • 1Tbsp Soy Sauce (low sodium is what I use)
  • 1Tbsp Ginger Paste
  • Water for sealing wontons closed
  • Canola Oil for frying
  • *Dash of Salt if using low sodium Soy Sauce
  1. 1. In a bowl mix all ingredients together until fully incorporated.
  2. 2. Place 1 tsp of filling into the center of a wonton wrapper
  3. 3. Using your finger outline the wrapper with water
  4. 4. Simply fold in half to make a triangle OR
  5. 5. Bring all 4 corners to the center and seal well to make a pouch/ purse looking ragoon **This method takes a little more practice
  6. 6. Using a wok (or a frying pan) heat canola oil on medium heat. You will need about 1.5 inches of oil in your pan.
  7. 7. Once the oil is hot, begin frying your ragoons in batches. I usually fry about 6-8 at a time.
  8. 8. Fry on each side for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
  9. 9. Serve hot or warm and dip in your favorite sauce. I like to use a sweet chili sauce for dipping. *Save the time and buy this part at your local grocery store!
